This documentary takes an intimate, reverent look at Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery – a court for military personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. The gravestones here are new, lined up neatly in long straight rows, with empty space for many more; one visitor notes that five more rows have appeared in the past two years alone. Section 60 is well-maintained, with caretakers regularly grooming the landscape, cleaning headstones, and watering newly sown grass. Displaced soil from one new grave fills another. The outside rows in Section 60 are the most recent ones, with temporary markers identifying the dead before permanent headstones are installed.Show more
