The Hindus’ crisis in Bangladesh has been prevailing for months as minorities are being targeted in Dhaka. The recent arrests of ISKCON priests have sparked a massive outrage across the world. Bangladesh Chief Advisor Md Yunus has been facing strong protests and backlashes since atrocities on Hindu minorities started. Meanwhile, the streets of WB’s Siliguri witnessed posters and stickers targeting Yunus over the issue. The posters with pictures of the Chief Advisor read quotations like, ‘spit on my picture’, ‘beat me with shoes’. A massive protest was also staged in Montreal by Canadian B’deshi Hindus to press to Govt respect minorities' rights. Religious & spiritual leaders across the world have also condemned the arrests of the priests and have called for immediate release. Notably, the atrocities against the Hindus, minority communities intensified after the then PM Sheikh Hasina was ousted on Aug 05.
