Tensions are rising in the occupied West Bank as Israeli forces conduct a series of raids across cities and towns. At least 22 Palestinians have been detained, with raids targeting Bethlehem, Tubas, Tulkarem, and Ramallah, including former prisoners. The Israeli army stormed Nablus, including the Grand Mosque in Sharfi Market, and fired live bullets in Tulkarem towns. New military checkpoints have been set up in Tamun, Tubas Governorate, and reconnaissance drones were spotted hovering over the area.The arrests have been deemed collective punishment by Palestinian prisoner organizations. Four young Palestinians were detained in Dhanaba and Ezbet al-Jrad, Tulkarem. The Israeli army also raided Ramallah, arresting individuals from Arouna, Beit Rima, and Beit Fajjar, resulting in the detention of Muhammad Hammoud.This escalation comes amid rising tensions in the region, with over 14,300 Palestinians detained in the West Bank since October 2023.Show more
