According to Reuters, a bill calling for a special counsel probe against First Lady Kim Keon-hee was rejected by South Korea's opposition-led parliament on Saturday.The First Lady is accused of manipulating stock prices and meddling with poll results through a power broker, according to the bill that the opposition brought into parliament. 102 legislators out of 300 opposed the bill.According to the Korean daily Hankyoreh, Kim Keon-hee was found not guilty in the matter of stock manipulation connected to Deutsche Motors after the court decided in favor of the defense, stating that she was not aware that an outside manager was using her account for transactions.Show more
