Maharishi Durvasa hands over his powerful garland to Indradev, much to the shock of Shani. But he gets enraged after Indradev breaks the garland and throws it away. Actions of Indradev forces Maharishi Durvasa to curse the Devas which results in loss of all their powers. Shani witnesses the devastation and pleads with Maharishi Durvasa to end his curse.
