Following the village priest’s order, Narsinh is set to perform a night bhajan. However, the same priest secretly sends money to Jeevan, instructing him to ensure that Narsinh doesn’t sing that night. Jeevan gives Narsinh buttermilk laced with something, causing Narsinh to lose consciousness.
