Spawn - Season 1 - Episode 5

A psycho, grenade-toting preacher named Cain holds a mute boy hostage, threatening to blow up anyone who gets in his way. Spawn is indifferent at first, but is pressed into action when a cop intimidates one of the alley bums, Gareb. Spawn comes to Gareb's rescue by hanging the officer up by his neck as a warning. He doesn't kill the cop -- but Cain, arriving on the scene, does. Meanwhile, Senator McMillan gets a call from Wynn reminding him who's boss. The senator tells Wynn someone's been hacking in the government files (Wanda, perhaps?) and may have accessed info about the kid-killing ice-cream man, Billy Kincaid. As Wynn calls on Chapel to find the CIA weapons that Spawn stole, Clown invites Kincaid to a party attended by "fresh meat." As Wanda is on the phone finding out that Max (her PI) is dead, her daughter Cyan is abducted. Finally, after we learn that Cain is actually a morph of Clown, Spawn saves the mute boy -- but can he save Cyan from the clutches of Kincaid?Show more
